South Forest Lane

This home belongs to a family of four that are recent transplants from New York City. They worked remotely with a builder for several years to build their custom dream home, but hired us when they needed someone to pull together all of the spaces and turn this new and already beautiful house into a home. Since they were expanding from an NYC apartment to a much larger custom home, they had very few existing pieces and needed almost all new furnishings. The few things we were asked to incorporate into their new space mainly consisted of special art pieces collected over the years. The final design is a fusion of traditional and modern pieces, with subtle hints of color and unexpected pattern scattered throughout.
