Brent's Place - Common Space

Redesigning the Brent's Place Common Space was our second project for this non-profit organization. This building is 10 years old and everything about it is dated and doesn't function effectively. The space isn't conducive to having families interact, it isn't cozy or inviting and there is not enough storage. Our team of volunteers were able to redesign a new space that changes spaces into functional, thoughtful stations where families can gather and where children can play while the adults interact with each other. Our proposed design brings in new flooring, new paint, and opens walls so that it truly becomes a functional, cohesive Common Space for the residents of both Founders House and the newer Tanner’s House. While this design is complete, it has yet to be implemented and we hope for this project to be fully completed by the end of 2021.
